Alquion is looking for a Junior Electrochemical Engineer

We are a Dutch Cleantech scale-up based in Rotterdam’s main port and Eindhoven’s Brainport. Our company origins from a merger between Battolyser Systems and VDL Hydrogen Systems. We are engineers on a mission to capture low-cost solar and wind energy and convert it into affordable hydrogen to fuel our industries sustainably. We develop the first fully flexible pressurized alkaline electrolyser for industrial applications. Unlike conventional systems that cannot follow volatile power prices, our Flexolyser™ is designed to switch on and off without compromise. This way Flexolyser™ integrates renewable energy into our future energy system by only converting low-cost electricity to hydrogen and selling electricity to the grid when prices are high.

With innovative design and decades of manufacturing experience, we unlock new business models and deliver reliable systems solutions at industrial scale. Our products help secure European energy independence, build competitive industries, and power a net-zero industrial future. Do you want to make a positive impact by working in a fast pace cleantech scale-up? Join our international team of bright colleagues with professional backgrounds in various top companies and institutes.
